1 Acupuncture initial
An initial treatment begins with a consultation, including pulse and tongue diagnosis. We will explore causative factors, as well as the broader picture that enables long term imbalances.
Following this is an acupuncture treatment (body, ear and scalp), with the addition of other healing tools; moxibustion (heat therapy), and prescriptive herbs; individualised to your needs and strengthened by weekly follow ups.
2 Acupuncture follow up (60 mins)
A follow up visit includes a pulse/tongue diagnosis, and an acupuncture treatment, alongside other healing tools such as moxibustion (mugwort - therapeutic heat). Acupuncture prescription will be tailored to your current needs, with scalp, ear and body points. On the treatment table is an amethyst 'Biomat', a gentle FIR warmth which eases you into the parasympathetic ("rest and digest") state, softens muscle tension and deepens the healing response.
*One side of body treated, usually the front
3 Acupuncture follow up extended (90 mins)
An extended follow up visit allows enough time for other tools, such as cupping and tui na (acupressure massage). Treatment begins with a pulse/tongue diagnosis, and a review consult to assess your progress. Acupuncture prescription follows, tailored to your current needs, with scalp, ear and body points. On the treatment table is an amethyst 'Biomat', a gentle FIR warmth which eases you into the parasympathetic ("rest and digest") state, softens muscle tension and deepens the healing response.
4 Facial Acupuncture
With a skin-positive approach to energising, lifting, and restoring the skin’s innate radiance, techniques include scalp, face and ear acupuncture, cupping, gua sha, tui na facial massage to promote microcirculation and disperse areas of stagnation. Internal imbalances and emotional disharmonies are also addressed with points selected on the body, tailored to your individual needs. Skin immediately glows.
